ALBAS is the only cashmere in the world carrying a Geographic Indication — a legally protected designation of origin equivalent to Champagne for wine or Parmigiano-Reggiano for cheese.
Sourced exclusively from ALBAS white cashmere goats raised on the Ordos Plateau, the fibre achieves a fineness of 14.5–15.8 microns with a staple length of 34–36mm. These specifications place it in the highest tier of commercially available cashmere globally — comparable to the finest Italian-processed fibres but with the added provenance guarantee of the ALBAS mark.
